The Sun and The Moon are in Love is my lastest piece and it also comes from a jazz project; its a jazz quintet formed by a trumpet/fluggelhorn in my case, alto sax, piano, drums and bass; and for this specific project I decided to also add voice.

It’s an original bossanova-samba fusion in which we got full creative freedom. The song talks about the forbidden romance of the sun and the moon and how they will eternally be doomed to a world without each other.

I’m very glad I got the chance to work with these musicians and to experiment in this project, it made me realise I really enjoy composing for these genres and how I want to improve my skills in this area.
